Funnel's Web Design:

Your vision, funneled onto the web!

About this Site:

This site was made with a combination of HTML, CSS, and PHP. There are several header images, which load randomly. These images are paired with matching CSS to create a dynamic, variable web site experience. This is just one example of how using PHP can make a webpage more dynamic.

About the Images:

Flowers:

On June 30, 2008, I underwent surgery to have my left wrist replaced, due to severe joint damage from my Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. To cheer me up during my recovery, two friends (or Friends, since they are Quakers, as I am) sent me this bouquet of flowers. It definitely served its purpose... and the surgery did as well, for there's been a noticeable decrease in pain and increase in function in my left wrist since then.

Forested Marsh:

This, like the marsh picture below, was taken at the Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center, just a few blocks from where I live. What is most compelling to me about this particular image is the dying tree on the right, surrounded by life on all sides.

Marsh:

This was also taken at the Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center. It's just an example of how beautiful nature is around here. This pictures shows a pretty standard landscape for this area. Marshes and water are pretty much everywhere around where I live.

Rooftops:

I spent a month in 2004 staying with family in Nice (prounounced like the English word niece, not nice), which is in the southeastern corner of France, right by Italy. This image was taken from a tourist train ride that ended on top of an old citadel, which offered magnificent views of Nice and the Mediterranean Sea. This is only one of the many photos I took from that spot.

Stones:

I graduated from St. John's College in Annapolis. During my time there, one of my favorite activities was walking around downtown Annapolis. Eventually, I started taking photographs to try and capture what I was seeing. This picture was taken right after a light snow. There was still snow on the ground, but most of it had melted, leaving the road wet. This image was likely taken on East Street.
